Management Framework Qualification

 What does the course aim to do?

The Management Advanced Apprenticeship- has been developed to support those working as first line managers, section managers, assistant managers, trainee managers, senior supervisors, junior non-commissioned officers (armed forces) and those working in a range of other management positions.

It plays an integral role in supporting organisational objectives through a wide range of functions, such as: planning, allocating & monitoring the work of a team, supporting team members, managing conflict, resolving problems, project management, agreeing budgets and managing customer service

The Leadership & Management Higher Apprenticeship - has been developed to support those working as managers, senior managers, heads of department, directors and those working in a range of other senior management positions

Managers operating at level 5 play an integral role in setting and supporting organisational objectives through a wide range of functions, such as: informing strategic decision making, managing budgets, planning and implementing change, leading teams and managing programmes of complimentary projects.

What qualification will the learner achieve?

Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship or Higher Level 5 in Management as per the qualifications framework above via the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). The Higher Level 5 in Management is equivalent to HNC & Degree level.

How will the learner’s progress be assessed?

The learner’s skills and knowledge will be assessed in the work place by an appointed assessor/tutor who will assess the learner’s skills, competence and knowledge.

Are there any entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements for learners undertaking this qualification, but the learner will undertake an initial assessment to determine the level of qualification they can undertake and they must be in a management/Team leader role.
