English and maths for the employed
Literacy and numeracy are both essential skills for running a successful business, yet within the UK, around 4 in 5 adults have a low level of numeracy and there are 8.5 million adults in England and Northern Ireland with the numeracy levels of a 10-year-old. Additionally, England ranks in the bottom three countries for Literacy Skills in the western world.
The English and maths for the employed programme directly addresses these skills shortages and offers qualifications to adults (aged 19 or over) who are employed and who have been assessed as having English or Maths skills below level 2
